Once you swap the hot-end out you can click the gear icon in the top right corner and then click maintainece and re-run the offset calibration for the left hot end and the XY offsets for the printer as well.

Tx Ryan helps a lot. I need to insert filament as well. Can this only be PLA ?? I don’t use PLA, in case of I need to stock some PLA for calibration

Yes, at this time we only advise running the offset calibration menus with Raise3D Premium PLA.

Steven thanks it’s clear to have some stock PLA just for calibration. In your reaction “at this time…..” gives me hope in near future it no longer needed and I can adjust filament and bed temps before calibration.

The suggestion to allow the calibration prints to use a different temperature has been sent over to our development team.

Hi,
Managed to purchase another hotend for my pro3. Have a ryby nozzle installed in it for PA-CF15.
Got the original hotend calibrated with PLA and when changed to the other hotend i did calibrate it also with PLA and then started printing with PA-CF15. Everything seems to be working.

Now, my question is: When i change back to the original hotent to print something in PLA again, do i need to re-calibrate again?
-And each time when changing to my other hotend? -At least the printer suggest me to do that. -Why, in that case there is no point in owning several hotends. Does not the printer store the calibration for each hotend??

For this you will need to redo the calibration for the left hand side and if you are looking to print dual then the dual calibration as we do not have a memory built in for the hot ends. The idea for the interchangeable hot ends is to make it easier to swap to a different nozzle than with our other machines which would require a disassembly of the print head every time you would like to swap.
