[Feature-Request] [ideaMaker] add cooling after xx mins inactive

Hi all,

I am wondering if it would be possible to add a second level of cooling?

So far I can set the temperature for the inactive extruder and the time to start heating again ahead. I would love to see a second level of cooling, so for example if inactive extruder is not used for the last xxx seconds/minutes etc then further cool down and to xxx temperature and add XXX sec/min. to preheat-time.

The reason I am asking is to avoid carbonization of for example BVOH. Sometimes my Raise3D-Pro-2 needs to print models where I need BVOH and when needed in every layer working with the first cool down is fine. Sometimes it's used rarely and to avoid carbonization I would love to add a second level of cool down.

There is already a cooling option under Inactive Extruder, are you looking for a different option?

Hi Vicky,

I am thinking about a *second* level cool down. After having entered the current cooldown one may want to enter a second level of further cooldown for example to prevent carbonization of BVOH. Think about a model that requires support. May very often at the beginning of the print and then a long time not and then later again. So a long-term (second level) of cooldown could help here very easily.

There will be one concern that if cool down twice, the next heating will take very long to hit the target.

Correct and I get your point Vicky but that's easy to solve - for example in the same way like it is solved right now - with a field which accepts a numeric value in seconds for start heating up ahead.
