Z Seam problems

Postby AndyWo » Thu Jun 18, 2020 5:19 pm

I'm playing with the z seam, but it looks very bad.

Pro2 Plus (Firmware everything up to date), 0,6mm Nozzle, PETG @ 245°C

Seam Fixed by X 152,5mm Y 305mm
Seam Hiding Convex Corner

Testet with Jerk X/Y from 5 to 15 and Printing Acceleration from 500 to 1200...

I've also playing with Coasting and Wipe, but it looks not better.
Coasting make gaps.

More Retraction Amount and negative Extra Restart Amount also not helping.

Everytime, the Start and Endpoint is a big blob.

Is there any reason for this problem?

Were you able to improve on this?

I'm printing with a 0.6mm nozzle with PETG too and the seem is quite wide. Trying to figure out how to reduce it?

No, unfortunately I haven't managed it yet...
