Print complete message on N2 touch screen

Postby socke » Tue Aug 13, 2019 3:44 pm

I'm not sure if this has been already addressed before:
For me it is very annoying (!!!) to be forced going to my printer and pressing 2 buttons after each print. You should really make this 'feature' configurable if somebody needs it. I'm aware that it needs some attention to not start a print with parts left in the printer, but hey - it's the users responsibility!
My printer is equipped with a camera, so I can see what happens from my PC. Also, the printer is powered by a WiFi controlled power plug. So normally, I turn off my printer remotely after a print. If I print something again and turn it on remotely, I can't control anything on the printer before I didn't go to the printer and press the 2 buttons.

I really hope, you could improve this in one of the next RaiseTouch updates - thanks!

Sorry for the trouble. We will try to open more options in future versions to meet different needs of different users.

You aren't the first person to voice this complaint. (There may be others.)

It's always good to know, I'm not the only strange person on this planet...

I concur - having to walk into the printer room for the button-presses is a PIA.
