Touch screen

Postby planetech3D » Wed Sep 12, 2018 10:16 pm

I bought a used N2 +. The former owner has not used it for more than 6 months, at startup the left touch zone no longer works.
I dismounted and passed the slicks to the electrical contact product. It still does not work.
According to you this is a known failure on the screens, is there a calibration to redo on the screen. Do you have any tips for correcting the defect?
Thank you in advance.

From our sides, we normally will ask the customer get a new touchscreen. The issue seems not able to be fixed without replacing some parts.

From what I have read this is a VERY common issue and Raise3D apparently sells a very expensive replacement. Read more here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7467&p=36444

However, if you have some mechanical / electrical skills you can get an equivalent replacement a LOT cheaper. Read more here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=9857&p=33968&hilit=touchscreen#p33968
