STL Design Shared
Re: STL Design Shared
Ducts originals are not of great quality, my parents are deformed after a few dozen hours printing .. now I have a couple printed with colorfabb XT filament and seem to work well

So, could you can share a stl file (or .obj or other) of this new design here µ?
Thanks in advance
Yes share it please, ASA printed should be nice
Re: STL Design Shared
I think PC, colorfabb HT or Taulman Blueprint will be the best for heat resistance
But, is it possible to get this file please ?

Re: STL Design Shared
I got got my brand new N2Plus and saw that there is now a printed plastic cover over the IEC power connector receptacle rear in the base of the machine. Can you share that STL so that those with early Kickstarter machines can retrofit?

Jetguy - PLease post a pic

Re: STL Design Shared
Here is that picture of the latest N2Plus that has a cover over the IEC power cord inlet.
Since this is clearly a printed part, wondering if Raise 3D can share for retrofitting to my earlybird N2 which is exposed.

Yes, we opened molding for the newly made fan cover. And due to V2 hotend is a little longer than V2, so we also increase the length a little this time.
Here is the STL:

Vicky, could you find the power socket cover I just posted the picture of?? I know it's 3D printed so that means somebody has the STL at the factory. Just trying to add safety for those of us with early N2 and N2Plus from the kickstarter. I had used a big piece of heatshrink to make mine safer but there is exposed mains 110 on the backside of the IEC power entry panel between the input and the fuse (the metal bus bar).
Again, earlybird N2 picture under the printer
Here is the 3D printed version as seen on my new N2Plus

Here it is. To install it, you need to replace the current two screws to be about M4*16, a little longer than current two.
Re: STL Design Shared
Hi, does anyone by chance have an STL file of the Z-clamps that hold the Z axis in place for transportation? I would need to print one pair, as we threw away ours after unpacking the N2 printer.
If someone still has them, it would even be great to get just the measurments and I can create the 3D model myself.

Re: STL Design Shared
Sorry, but I don't have stl file on hand.
But have gcode file of it. It was sliced with ABS.

Re: STL Design Shared
Hi Vicky, thank for sharing, but the file contains 20 clamps, so it was a bit too much for us
We made a new STL model (it's a bit tight compared to the original) which I'm sharing in attachment.

Another fan duct: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2258157
I ditched my second hot-end in favour of good GCode controllable cooling. This fan duct is a remix of Socke's, modified to blow closer to the print.
Shown here in Raise PLA to test it out. So far so good, i'm getting the cooling I need to print small, fine detailed objects.

And please add this remix of the ducted electronics cover for more reliable printing: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2425721
Re: STL Design Shared
any chance we can get the STL file shared for the X Axis End stop mounting part? mine is weaken from a hard hit a long time ago and keeps working itself loose. I would like to make another.

Re: STL Design Shared
Thank you for the file. However, I need the EndStop shim for the Kickstarter EB printer. If it is not available, I will just have to recreate it.

Not the file I shared?
Would you like to share me a picture about that?
