I did a print yesterday. And the nozzle started hitting the supports. So I lowered the flowrate on the printer from 94 to 92%.
And that caused the finish of the printed PLA to change from glossy to matte.
(I get the same glossy/matte finish difference on PLA if I print with different temps).
Does lowering flow rate make the plastic "linger" longer in the nozzle/throat and therefore get more cooling? And extruding colder.
Or is something else in play here?
