ABS/TPU 100% Infill

Postby timaga » Fri Aug 05, 2022 12:40 am

I'm printing nested cylinders in alternating materials with 100% infill, and was wondering if there is a way to make the prints faster by doing a continuous spiral for each layer instead of alternating diagonal infill like a traditional 3d print.

For this there are 2 potential options that will get us close to what you are looking for, but may be a bit more difficult.

1 You can change the infill to concentric and this could possibly help with print times, but with 100% infill this will still take a long time

2 You can try creating a custom Infill pattern that is a continuous spiral, but this is beyond the scope of what I can help with. I am showing where the infill pattern can be added that could theoretically do this.
