Pro2 bad print

Postby TLN-dys » Wed Nov 24, 2021 1:27 pm

Hi everyone

I printed a ruler. On the E2 it came very nice

On the pro2, the right side was smooth but the left side was rough, with small spikes.

I tried printing a calibration cube to check its left side (thinking maybe the nozzle was bent) but it was OK.

Could someone give me some hint about the problem?
The Raise3D documentation is not very clear about troubleshooting process.

since the issue seems to be one-sided something I would recommend checking is if your cooling fan on the left side is functioning by going to the tune menu and set the fan speed to 100. Can you also share the Gcode file for this print?

I printed it again, same machine, same filament.
A friend suggested I should rotate the object by 90° so I printed 2 pieces, one in the X direction, the other in the Y direction.
Both came out perfect.

Thank you for the update. It is possible cooling is the issue as when you are printing 2 models this will give time for the first model to cool down while the second is printing.
