TPU en RAISE3D E2

Postby AntonioVMB » Tue May 04, 2021 5:14 pm

Buenas tardes,

Gracias.

Hi Antonio,
how many work hours has Your nozzle?
because could also be that Your nozzle has some TPU carbonized inside and the extrusion is not good.
With other material like PLA, ABS or ASA how the printer works? Extrude properly?
In this period I'm working with different brands of TPU and when I change material I normally use a special filament to clean the nozzle inside, because TPU is easy to give problems.
For example, You have used TPU, after You have used PC at 260-270 °C and the remaining tpu inside the nozzle could have a problem at this temperature.

Hi Sandro,

The nozzle has worked between 300-500 hours. With PLA I have had excellent results using this nozzle. I usually print TPUs with the following profile:
Temperature: 240ºC
Layer Height: 0,15 mm
Velocity: 10 mm/s
No retraction

I only use my printer to print with TPUs and sometimes PLA but I never change the material.

what do you think about changing my Raise Nozzle for Rubi Nozzle?

Thank so much!
