Generating support

The support function in ideamaker is just rudimental imho.
Will there be an improvement in the future? For example select one face and it generates support just for this face?
Now there is just a "generate support", which generates a mess! Or "Add" lets you add pillar boxes of specific size, this is completely inefficient/crap!

If this software gets updates at this rate...
can anyone recommend or know a better slicer than ideamaker for Raise3D E2???
