[Feature Request] Add Sounds to Events

Postby StrikeBack83 » Thu May 25, 2023 9:59 am

When an event like "finish print", "end of filament" and so on occurs, there is no notification the machine just stops.
To recognize something unusual happens or the print is done, there should be ANY typ of sound. At the moment there is nothing at all.
Please add this, this is crucial to me! Better would be different "personal" sounds that plays when an event occurs.

My Printer is E2 so i'm looking forward for this feature as a firmware update!

Unfortunately, since our printers do not have any speakers or buzzers, there would not be a way to implement a sound effect via a software update. At the moment, a workaround you can use is to download the RaiseCloud app and enable notifications on your phone for the app or to your email so that way you can get a tone or notification sound when something occurs (an FRS pause or a completed print for example)

Oh no! :?
I did not want to use RaiseCloud but there is obviously no other option, very unfortunate!
My 8 year old zortrax has a little "beeper", this can't be true, damn!

I apologize for the inconvenience. Perhaps in the near future, there will be a feature like this implemented :)
