Sharing some updates for my latest 3D printing project. This is a custom 3d printed oversized water holder for my car with adjustable LED lights.
I scanned my dashboard with an free photogrammetry app called DisplayLand. It allows you to use your phone to scan any object, convert it to a 3D model, share it with others, and in my case, download an obj file with textures and use it as reference for a 3d model. You can check out the app here:
Used a Nurbs based modeling package called MOI 3D to model the cup holder. Simple but powerful for these types of practical prints, really digging it so far.
