N2 Bed Temp Variation

Postby cave » Wed May 30, 2018 2:36 pm

FYI - on our N2 we are seeing a 24F variation on the bed temp when stable. The front left corner is the cold spot. Just something to keep in mind for folks.

Very interesting observation. I have a Flir-one Pro and will perform a similar check on my Heat Bed. (Although I’m not certain if slight temp variations will impact adhesion / warping with most materials.)

Also, while a potentially stupid question; did you have the bed lowered for the entire time that you allowed it to heat up? If it was raised. With the printhead in the home position, then lowered for your Thermal Image, the cool corner could be explained by the cooling fans blowing on that corner of the bed. :?:

Also, 24F is 12C, not enough to finish typing a message over.
