I have the adapter from email@example.com
, and a kit of E3D hot-end parts from Matterhackers:
1 E3D heater block
1 titanium heat-break
1 24V 40W heater rod
Hardened steel 0.4mm nozzle to kick things nozzle-wise off since I print a lot of NylonX & PETGCF for the robot(s) and I'm tired of shelling out for the Raise "hardened" ones(and V2 hot-ends, and....ugh).
I notice the thermocouple has these forked lugs on the end of them and the Raise thermocouple is just using bare wires.
I can trim those lugs off right ?
Is there a step-by-step posting somewhere in this thread I can look at ?
This seems pretty simple to do, on the order of the Bondtech upgrade, but it would be great to hear about any gotchas that are not immediately obvious from scrolling through the thread here.
