Touchscreen control of heater bed

Postby Charles » Mon May 02, 2016 7:45 pm

I noticed that I cannot enter a temperature higher than 110 on the touchscreen, but I can set it via IM to a much higher number, ex: 130C. I'm assuming that I can set it to 130C on IM, but the printer will just goto 119?

Anyway, is it a bug that I cannot set it to a temp higher than 110 on the touchscreen?

thanks!

Heater bed has a hard limit of 119 degrees. As soon as it hits 120 it will auto shutdown.

That you would be able to set higher then 119 is an "undocumented feature"(you should not use since it will shutdown and reset to 0 when it hits 120 anyway)

I can't set it higher than 110 by touch screen either.

Is this a bug that we can't set it to higher than 110 on the touchscreen?

Why more then 95? You using a different plate?

It is not a bug. It is a safety restrain for heat bed temperature. We give 10C as a buffer since the max is 119C.

No but like to see what it can do and was curious as to why the max was listed as 119*C while it could only be set to 110*C.

C'mon - you know builders are gonna experiment. ;)

I have some Sitall Glass build plate glass I'm testing which needs the bed at 110 to 128 degrees or higher. Would like the temperture to go higher.

For now, you go as high as 110C. Try it at 110C and if you can't make it work at 110C, please contact us at support@raise3d.com and we can further help you out from there.
