The power module I got is suppose to filter out some of the noise as use to have pretty dirty power at my house but since has been fixed by the city.

Thanks! Great tips for shielding thermistor cables. I found metal braided sleeving on eBay for less than $1/foot shipped (USA):

Does the thermister cable metal shielding need to be grounded? I'll cover the metal shielding with plastic cable braid as well.

I'll also replace power module with the one you used and will twist the thermistor cables as suggested before shielding for good measure.

Sorry for really overdue response. I haven't been on the site for a long time. I'm sure you already found your answer but you should ground the shielding otherwise it doesn't dissipate out the rogue signals. Likely becomes a amplified for them if not grounded.
