Raise Touch Version Rollback guide

Postby Jetguy » Tue Jun 05, 2018 4:57 pm

If for some reason you need to rollback to a previous version of Raise Touch LCD software/firmware on the printer, simply follow these steps.
#1 Download the desired version from the "RaiseTouch ALL Versions" webpage https://www.raise3d.com/pages/raise-touch-all-versions
Note, this filename with specifically begin with "rollback" and end with ".raisepack".
#2 Copy that file to a thumb drive (note, on average, these are roughly 80-90mb in size for an update version). Must not be nested in a folder and must be in the "root" directory of the drive.
#3 Insert into the printer
#4 You can invoke the update now one of 3 ways:
You can power cycle the printer, just be sure to wait until the LCD fully shuts down, then wait, then power on with the USB drive inserted with the rollback raisepack file.
You can use the onscreen LCD menu to invoke the LCD system to reboot in a soft reboot method. As seen here viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6324&p=25218&hilit=loop#p25214
You can use the new feature present in current Raisepack versions 0.9.9 and higher that includes a new firmware update menu
