you basically need 2 models. one for each color. Position them correctly and then use the wrench on the left to select what model to print with what extruder

Yes you have to cheat for now, make the 2nd color print reach down to the bed on a very thin bar to lift it

In ideamaker 2.16 and below you can NOT set a Z- height on models, they are working on changing this, expect it in one of the future versions :) (it is in high demand and on the wishlist for a while)

This feature will be available in the ideaMaker 2.1.7. :)

Well, I do have a handful lottery tickets. Just don't know which one could be the winner. Probably we can print out a lottery machine and simulate the drawing to see if we can figure that out.

Sorry about the blatant plug...
Go listen to show #134 of 3D Printing Today. GP does a segment on the newer ability for Meshmixer to let the user simply paint on the mesh object to make it into matched dual objects for dual extrusion.
For that matter... if you listen to #135 he also does a segment on using it for soluble support material which is really cool.
Both are gems.
