Infill patterns
Can we have some more infill patterns please? Have a look at orca for some inspiration.

Re: Infill patterns
Thanks for the suggestion/request. I will forward this over to our ideaMaker development team for review. In the meantime, if it helps, you can always import a custom infill pattern into ideaMaker to use with your templates:
(exiting the window on step 4 would save the custom infill to your profiles)

Re: Infill patterns
Great. Now how would I find patterns to import. Or how to create one?

Re: Infill patterns
The custom infill pattern can be a screenshot from a different infill from another slicer or any other image you see fit to import as an infill pattern. Once the steps from the previous example image are followed, the infill pattern will now be available for you to use on any template.

Re: Infill patterns
What if I want something similar to gyroid. I'm specifically looking for cross3d. A popular one on other slicers.

Re: Infill patterns
You would then simply take a screenshot or picture of your desired infill pattern from wherever you found it. After this, you can then upload it into ideaMaker. (a clear image would work best)

How would this work with infill like cubic, that changes for every layer?

Re: Infill patterns
Unfortunately, this type of infill/effect would not work within an alternating pattern, only a 2D image/pattern. This is more of a novel type of feature, similar to concentric infill where the pattern is what looks appealing but may not be the best at actually serving as an infill pattern.
