how to brim just a single part or add mouse ears

Postby lt72884 » Mon Aug 08, 2022 10:07 pm

Ok, i have 3 parts on my build plate BUT ONLY ONE needs a brim. How do i do this? I do not wish to print this object separately, since that will waste time. I would like to print it at the same time as the other parts:)

If this is not an option, can it be added to the next release please, or at least a way to add mouse ears or something

thanks

ideaMaker doesnt support assign Brim for different model for one print or Mouse Ears. Because assigning some model Brim during printing while models are pretty close, it can cause extra strings or print failure.
We will add this request into developing list and discuss whether we can find some other solution for similar cases.

ok, for now, ill just add my own mouse ears via the add primitive>cylinder option and make them the correct size.

i know in the newest version of prusa slicer, they have the brim individual object, but i dont want to use prusa slicer its to crowded on the UI. ideamaker has a very simple un-clustered UI

Do you mind take a screenshot of the setting in Prusa and also advise what printer you are currently using?
