2 Material Support

Postby Rotator » Fri Jul 03, 2020 8:03 am

Hello,

I want to print my Part with two filaments, PLA and as Support PVA. I do not want to waste too much PVA for support. Is there a possibility that i can make just the last few layers, maybe 6 or 7, of the Support with PVA and the Rest with PLA. PLA is in d´the Left PVA in the Right Extruder.

Thank you for your Help.

Kind Regards
Christoph

You can enable Dense Support Layers and assign PVA extruder to print Denser Support Layers only and assign the rest of supports to be printed with the other extruder with regular PLA.

You can try Cool Down Inactive Extruder and Nested Wipe Tower and compare the result.
