I have just installed 3.6.0 Beta on Linux Mint 19.3 for my Delta printer with Marlin 1.1.9 and all looks good. Prints are coming out great, thank you very much.
I am printing a round cup-like item and the sold fill parts of the base have a zillion retractions for the first and last 20 or so vertical passes. At the top and bottom of every Vertical pass of the black-regions of the pic, I get a Retraction. Once it gets to the white area it is fine.
I have set
Retraction at 6.5mm at 40m/s
Force Retraction On Layer Change is UN-checked
Avoid Retraction Inside Models IS-checked
Enable Retraction at Bottom and Top of Models IS-checked
All of those extra Retractions are taking up lot of time. Is there some way to prevent them?

DUH -- slapping my forehead.
Thanks, I am not sure how I missed that EVEN after typing that it WAS checked.
I am old and Dyslexic, (also "Disbale" in the Subject) that's my excuse. I must have read that as "Disable Retraction ..."
