changing flow rate settings in filament settings has no effect.

Postby Dreetie84 » Thu Nov 14, 2019 5:26 pm

Hi, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but changing the flowrate in "Filament settings" has no effect on my prints.

What I did:

  1. took the 20mm_calibration_box example and set flow rate under "filament settings" to 60% and exported the gcode.
  2. Did the same with 100% flowrate
  3. Compare the 2 gcode files

When looking at the gcode files in both cases the M221 command gives 100.

When enabling the option "Change Gcode E length by multiplying filament flowrate and redoing the test both gcode files show the same E lengths.

Do I have to enable something else or change flowrate in another place?

Os = windows 10 64 bit

Please check Override Filament Flow has been enabled or not under Advanced tab. This setting has higher priority than Filament Settings.
