Printing multiple parts one after another

Postby 3d4you » Mon May 08, 2017 7:46 pm

IdeaMaker is great Software. I have one Suggestion (if this festure already exists, please tell me where to enable it):

I would like to select, if I like multiple parts to be printed simultanously or one after another. Cura has such a Setting. You just have to specify printhead dimensions for the machine. But it works even with 3rd Party machines (like my BQ Hephestos).

The reason, why I would like to print parts one after another is:
- if one piece fails, I do not have to throw away the whole charge
- the layer adhesion is much better (parts cool down too much, if you print 10 pieces simultanously)

Notes taken. We will test whether it can also be added into our machine.

I vote for this feature too.
Printing one at a time also prints faster, because the head isn't constantly moving around between pieces.
Meanwhile, I'll use Cura 2.6.

I am also very interested in this option which seems to me essential to all good slicer.
Where is the functionality since 2017?

Thank you once again for realizing this feature. Feels good to know that my voice was heard. :D :D :D
