Sequentially printing Dual Extruder models

Postby pinestreet » Mon Jul 01, 2019 12:43 pm

Didn't find any post directly clarifying this -- Is Sequential printing with Dual extruders possible?

The print I have has left and right extruder pieces that overlap each other, so when I switch into sequential mode it gives me a model collision error message.

" Models collide each other or print head collides with completed model in sequential printing"

Is there a way to group the left and right extruder pieces together so that the left and right pieces are printed simultaneously, but the rest of the batch is printed sequentially?

Thanks in advance,

Sequential printing only support single nozzle print.
The potential issue can be caused by multiple nozzle printing for sequential printing is that it has higher potential to hit the already printed model when nozzle switching. And the travel path of Wipe Wall Tower and Cool Down Inactive Extruder will cause nozzle hits as well.
