Exporting Printer Config to other OS

Postby Michaelo » Wed May 15, 2019 1:24 am

Been using IdeaMaker with my CR-10 for some time and produce flawless prints with my current configuration.

I have switched to MX Linux and installed IdeaMaker but wondering if I can import (or copy) my CR-10 printer config to my Linux computer (assuming it's a bin file), it looks like this is possible so just making sure I'm on the right path...

Go to Help -> Configuration Folder to copy all the data there and paste to ~/.ideamaker.
Or, if you want to copy some information from one single folder, for example folder of default_printer, you need to copy everything from that folder to ~/.ideamaker/default_printer in Linux.
If you only want to copy some of the templates, you can export in ideaMaker then import it into ideaMaker in Linux.
