Ideamaker slow on OSX

Postby novio8 » Sun May 12, 2019 9:30 am

Hi,
I installed Ideamaker on Mac OSX High Sierra and Preview is so slow.
On the same Machine Simplify3d perfoms perfectly.

Regards
Mario

Would you like to advise whether it gets slow when loading preview or previewing gcode file?

Would you like to share your gcode and data files and the configurations of your computer?

I could provide gcode files but:
Previewing (rotating, zoom in/out, layer changing) is generally much slower with all the 3D models I sliced, Simplify3D
is much much snapier and preview is fast. I have tested IdeaMaker on 2 OSX machines, same result

S3D IS faster - don't think there's an issue with your computer or IM other than it being slow.

The speed of Preview will be different among computers and Gcode file's size.
So we'd like to ask for your gcode files and configurations of your computer to analyse.
