looking to print this item using Ideamaker. Issue is the base (under the yellow plane line) needs to be printed in a regular printing style with shells and infill, then the upper area be printed in vase/spiral mode. Thing is either way I start over rides the second, and in the "layers " tab there is no selection for Vase mode... :/ also cant adjust top layer count
I search all through the program and tried a lot of work arounds I could think of but none have worked. :/
can we add that? I know it's not a generally high use item, but there are more and more of my models I design that could take advantage of that.
thanks
[Normal to Vase mode][IM-3.3] Can't Print 1/2 in normal-1/2 in vase

Could you split in 2 your part at the yellow plan? And glue them together after?
So, you would be able to program what you want. Just an alternative here.

We will consider to involve this into Per-Layer options.

could, but shouldn't really have to .. and it kinda defeats the purpose. I have and can use S3D, just prefer to use IDM when ever possible.
