PVA Support Interface Layers?

Postby Colt44 » Mon Jan 21, 2019 1:33 pm

As per my title, is there currently a way in Ideamaker to simply print the interfacing layer of supports in PVA as opposed to the whole support structure? This feature would help make using soluble materials a bit more cost effective on my Pro2.

An example of this feature can be found in this video (Simplify3D): https://youtu.be/ICt4XvXgbYI

Thanks all!

You can enable Dense Support Layer and have right nozzle print Dense Support Layers, load PVA in right nozzle.

Thank you, this works.

Now the next question, is there any way to put water soluble PVA filament layers as Dense Support charged in Right Extruder on vertical walls all way around the part with 0 mm horizontal offset?
