yes, but it's really not free because you have to by the bearings, the filament, and the nut. so I would maybe say its cheaper.

You're still buying bearings, filament and a fastener/nut but you're paying $10 + shipping to do it. (Zoom in on the picture.)

The cost of printing one yourself with filament, bearings, and fasteners is probably less than half of the price of the eBay spool + shipping.

The majority of people interested in this type of improvement already have printers, so it's not like they need to buy someone else's printed parts. Unless the style knocks their socks off.
