strange marks on the left extruder shell

Postby vvhh2002 » Sat Sep 12, 2020 6:37 pm

How is this going? After I used E2 to print ABS for 16 hours, I found such strange marks on the left extruder shell. I just got this new E2.

Does anyone know what's going on? Will this affect the performance of the machine? Is there something wrong with E2?

Would you mind take some better pictures of what the issue is refering to?
Some filaments can give off a light fume when they are printing which can discolor the cover over time. Most PETG's and some ABS materials have this issue.

I didn't really find something that would be concerned in the photos The cover is a cosmetic item. It shouldn't affect the printing quality.
If you see anything wrong with your prints, please let me know.
