Board Error during Z-Offset calibration

Postby Oleksiy » Sat Jul 11, 2020 6:20 am

Hi,

I just received my E2 and after some test prints I recognise that Z-Offset is to high - something about 0.2mm. Ok, I found the instruction how to calibrate Z-Offset here: https://support.raise3d.com/E2/how-to-a ... -1228.html

But I can complete step 5 because of Board Error:

I repeated this step several times but with the same result.

Please try Auto PID tuning to see if that helps the issue. It appears the hotend is have issues maintaining temperatures

I installed latest firmware (0.2.506) for E2 printers and it seams to be ok now. But it was necessary to be done manually, because RaiseTouch "Update automatically" doesn't work properly and always displays I had latest version.

Auto update should work with the latest version of the firmware but if you can see an issue please create a ticket refers to bug report and we can inform the development team.
