New items in store

Postby firesped » Fri May 13, 2016 9:13 pm

I see new stuff in the store, is this stuff already completely sold out or just not stocked yet?

I'd like to see the heatbreak(throat tube) of the V2 hotend in the store. I need one and don't want to purchase an entire hotend.

Some things went quickly. The N2 build plate was in stock in the US store briefly but by the time I went to order it, it was gone. I did order a couple of the hardened nozzles. Can't wait to try them on some abrasive filaments that I've avoided until now (carbon, glow-in-the-dark, metal-filled, etc.).

We will have this in stock in a week (maybe the day after tomorrow).

You are right. We have only 3 in stock when you saw that but were sold out very soon. Will have more in stock in a week(maybe the day after tomorrow).

Yes, more spare parts from China will arrive in US tomorrow. We will sort them out and update the stock of the online store.

The fixed bed approach makes it really hard to adjust easily when switching plates. Yet another reason to mod the bed so that you can level it conventionally. I posted the mod to Tverse a while back. Search for tobycwood on thingiverse. The mod is VERY easy to do and makes my N2 work TONS better. The factory level approach R3D refuses to back away from is not a good idea.
Note that carbon infused as well as other metallic infused and Glow in the dark filaments are somewhat abrasive and will quickly eat away at the nozzle. Also note infused filaments are not stronger rather they are weaker. They are only for look and feel.

We don't provide V2 heat blocks in the store, only V2 hot-end assembly right now.

That was not the part I meant. What I need is the metal tube of the V2 hot end. The one that is very easily ruined when disassembling the hot end because it has a small throat between the heat block and the heatsink.

Understood now, I am sorry we don't have this in stock, only the hot-end assembly.
