Installed FlexPlate for Raise3D Pro2 but not Z-Offset Too Small

Postby elm2733 » Fri Sep 15, 2023 7:40 pm

Hello all,

I have installed the BuildTake FlexPlate System for the Raise3D Pro2. I am trying to calibrate the new Z-Offset for this FlexPlate setup. I have turned the screw all the way inwards, but the nozzle would still run into the build plate if I pressed home (I have take measurements).

In summary, my issue is that I can't turn the Z-offset screw any further inward and my Z-offset distance is still too small. If anyone else has had this issue, or has a good solution of what to do next here, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

There is more than enough margin to make Z adjustments even with the addition of the FlexPlate (one of the best bang-for-your-buck mods for this printer). Either your printer is damaged, the plate is improperly installed, or operator error is to blame. Z alignment is THAT easy.

Unfortunately, Raise3D isn't famous for thorough procedure writing, leaving some owners confused when making this basic adjustment. Try this instead:
