I had a truly spectacular print failure last week. I have a picture of what happened for your amusement. For some reason, all the PLA for the print job ended up encasing the hot ends and caused a nice mess.
I removed both hotends and heating rod and thermocouples, and bought new ones (i.e. two new hotends plus two new heating rods and two new thermocouples). I connected it all up and get two crazy temperatures on start up (10 C on the left and 159 C on the right) and eventually a Temperature Sensor Error.
I've also attached a picture of the board after connecting the new thermocouples and heating rods. Any ideas? Is this board bad or that multicolored wire connector?
Thoughts about Raise3D, 3D printing and making in general.
