Belt Tightening

Postby GiguereA » Thu Apr 23, 2020 9:20 pm

About 2 days ago, I started having issues with my printer. During the first layer of the raft, my printer do a sort a Vibration at 1 precise point, which result in shifting the rest of the printing. I noticed my Y belts seem to be a little loose but similar on both side. that said, is it normal that the Y belt tension is similar bot on the opposite side (left Y belt tension on highest belt part, while on the right side is the opposite).

Could it be a slicing problem ?

Thank you for your help

Do you have any image of the failed print that you could share with us?
The belts are reinforced so the usually do not stretch over time.
Please also try disable the motors and move the printhead by hand. Feel whether there is any resistance or binding.
