Remove Silicone Covers for High Temps?

Postby PTXer » Mon Mar 18, 2019 3:23 pm

Doing my first Nylon prints. Wondering if the silicone head covers are OK for the really high temps or should they be taken off? Thanks

The silicone cover won't be damaged when nozzle reaches to our maximum temperature. It won't be melt or fall apart. But higher temperature may cause the cover wear out quicker than lower temperature. You can get some spare ones as replacement for future use.

Beware if you want to clean it... after high temps, is easy to tear it apart...
