Ninjatek Semiflex : What finally worked!

Postby Rockman » Fri Feb 10, 2017 2:40 am

This semiflex filament is a pain in the ass to print on a N2!!

After crazy stringing, filament chewed by the gears, not sticking to print bed. The following is what worked for me.......

Sharing my settings if others are looking to take a stab at it.

*All print speed settings set to 20mm/s
*Nozzle height set to 0.1mm. In normally. Print at 0.2.
*nozzle temp 240
*No retraction
Print bed temp 90
Print bed surface PEI
Filament fed from the top with cover off.

Lastly.... Do not try to autoloader this filament... My god.. The gears kept chewing it.... Do a man ual incremental feed under Utilities on printer screen hit the Nozzle red section by hand to advance filament.

Nicely done. I also found that the feed tubes have too much stiction for the flexibles and I just hang a wire with a loop at the end as the guide - only a single point of contact
