Printing Time

Hallo all,

I have a question regarding printing time.
I noticed that when I print using a nozzle for the complete printing, the approximation printing time given by the machine was actual.
But when I printing using 2 nozzles for the complete printing, the given approximation time was not actual but there is additional time after the first given approximation time. Also, the additional time given after finish first given approximation take longer time.
Could anyone let me know what is actually happen?

When you use two nozzles for printing, the printer has to pause the print job to switch between the nozzles. This pause, combined with the time it takes to switch nozzles and the time it takes for the new nozzle to reach the right temperature, can add extra time to the overall printing process.

Dual-extruder printing takes longer than Single-extruder because of the extra movements, cooling, and heating related to nozzle switching. We haven't yet perfected an accurate way to estimate this extra time, but any suggestions on optimizing the algorithm are welcome.
