Pro2 Shifting on X-Axis

Postby PrintitCharlie » Wed Oct 30, 2019 7:01 pm

Buggy stuff going on here with our Raise 3d Pro2. It shifts between layers on the x-axis only for some reason.
Here are some examples.

Would you like to go and check both couplers for X and Y directions and compare whether there is any difference between the couplers or not? Can be loose or damaged coupler is causing the issue.

Ok Vicky I will check that.
Here's the last failed print I printed on a day ago.

Alrighty, here's pics of the X and Y couplers.

They are in good condition. I tightened one set screw on the X coupler, but that was it.

I will reassemble and try another print.

Keeping in mind, it was one out of 4 set screws that was loose. But hey who knows.

Printing out a test now and seeing if that was it. :)

I have had two successful prints since then! I am pleased! So a summary of what I did was follow the procedure to disassemble to tighten the set screw on the x coupler, left power switch on while power was unplugged to hopefully drain power, wiped down rods and re-applied recommended Super Lube. :)
