Pro2 Stuck on busy and still printing after stop

Postby mcstockdale » Tue Aug 13, 2019 1:35 am

hello,

was looking around raisecloud while a job was running and found the printer temperature/feed settings tab and it looked glitched.

I dont think the NaN is meant to be displayed there.
After exiting the menu, my printer temp dropped from 205C to 110C mid print without me doing anything.
I first paused the print through raisecloud, but then stopped it completely, but it seems as if neither worked, and now my printer is stuck as "busy", and still printing despite the stop request.

The camera preview shows the extruder still moving despite the cooled extruder and print bed as a result of the stopped print.
The job was also cancelled but still appears in the queue.

Would you like export serial log from your touchscreen and share with us so that we can see what happened in system?
It is under Settings -> More Settings -> Serial Port Log.

Thanks for your waiting. I have got the feedback from software team.
They have checked the log file you shared and found out that your printer is running an old version of touchscreen firmware.
We recommend you update your firmware first then see whether issue is still there or not.
You can find the latest version from the following link: https://cloud.raise3d.com/raise3d-download.html

I'll be submitting an error log shortly, this exact issue just happened to me.
Saw a print failure from raise cloud, paused print, now unable to turn temps off, resume print, or stop print.
Forced to watch my nozzle slowly melt a hole in the corner of my buildtak.

Recently put in charge of managing a Pro2 Plus and I have to say, really not impressed with your company at the moment.
You don't listen to suggestions, you say you're "working on" implementing things and never do, and your cloud software is abysmal.
Not expecting this to change anything, just tired of dealing with a company that puts profits over user experience.

Regards,

Dirk Miller

Looking forward to helping checking your log file.
Meanwhile, please also help confirm which version of the touchscreen firmware your printer is currently running with. That can help us figure out the issue faster.

Did the nozzles and heated plate reach to targte temperature? The pause/stoop wont take affect till heating completes.
