Hello,
So I have been having this high pitch sound coming from somewhere inside the cabin when the printer is moving slowly when printing the outer shell, especially when moving diagonally.
I have done my best to keep everything clean and well lubricated.
Identifying where it is being generated is pretty hard with all the fan noise.
My concerns are that the squeaking might be coming from inside the print head assembly, perhaps one of the bearings going bad?
Do any of you have experience with this kind of noise/ disassembly of this part of the print head?
I would like to add a small clip to show but it doesn't let me attach it.
Kind Regards,
Jeremy

Can you try sending the clip via a 3rd party file transfer utility such as WeTransfer or google drive with the file set to public?

It sounds like there is a bearing having issues and to further diagnose the issue can you let me know what lubricant you are using on the machine?

Re: High pitch squeaking when printing outer shell
Thank you for the update. Can you let me know what brand as if the grease is as a lighter on could be coming off of the rails while the printer is running due to the heat from the machine?
Re: High pitch squeaking when printing outer shell
The label has been ripped off a while back, I think it's from the brand Griffon?
I can see after using the printer the rails still have a very thin coat over them.
If you have any good suggestions on lubrication I am willingly to try them out.

We normally reccomend super lube silicone grease with PTFE. I have attached a picture of the tube.
