Raise3D Pro2 Plus: filament oozing on nozzle heating

Postby AKazak » Mon Aug 08, 2022 10:49 am

Greetings!

I recently noticed spontaneous filament (standard PLA) oozing on nozzle heating up to 150–180°C and above:

Is this a normal behavior?
If negative, then how to fix this?

Thank you.

This is considered normal for all 3d printers as the Glass transition point of PLA is much lower than printing temperatures so it leaking out when it reaches this point is expected and this is why there is a filament purge before starting the print.
