Hello
I have just had a PLA filament jam, before the Extruders gears, and am unsure how to remove it
I have tried to pull it out manually, as the Extruder itself is out of reach, but failed, causing he filament to rip before the entrance
Any help is appreciated
Thank you

Re: Jam between Extruder entrance and Gears
The best way to remove any material from this section of the extruder is to remove the extruder from the printer then take a short length of the Jam removal rod (the long metal wire) and carefully but firmly push from the top to try and push out any material stuck in there. This needs to be done separate from the printer as the forces needed to push the material out are quite high and may damage the printer if it is attached. This guide can be referenced for removing the extruder https://support.raise3d.com/Pro2-Series ... 4-387.html
Re: Jam between Extruder entrance and Gears
I have had jams in this area that I have to clear using a drill bit from above, as they won't push out with a rod (even hammering!) The best thing would be to use a small hand collett to hold the drill bit and slowly chew it out. The material is soft so the bit goes through it easily.
