RaiseTouch - Feedrate

Postby Markus64 » Mon Jul 13, 2020 9:21 pm

If you increase the feed rate from 100% to 130% in RaiseTouch, for example, the print speed increases by 30%, is that correct? To achieve the same effect via Ideamaker would you have to increase ALL speeds there by 30%? Or have I thought incorrectly about that?

The manual only describes the following: "Feed rate: speed factor override percentage."

Yes, in ideaMaker you need to modify all the settings related to speed settings. And don't forget the other settings besides the ones for each structure, such as Minimal Layer Print Time, Slow Down Printing Speed. https://support.raise3d.com/ideaMaker/5 ... 5-441.html

Thanks for the quick reply Vicky.
Wouldn't that be a great option for Ideamaker? Instead of manually adjusting each setting, being able to specify the value for feed rate in the slicer and Ideamaker automatically adjusts all values? This would save a lot of time, and you could leave the settings in the printer at default and would not run the risk of resetting them (when using a different filament)?

What was also noticed:
If I change the feed rate in Raisetouch, the print time is not corrected.

Different structures need different printing speed. In ideaMaker, all the settings for each structure are adjusted individually according to your needs and printing result.

The issue of touchscreen will be forwarded to developing team.
