PTFE bushes wanted

Postby mnew » Mon Dec 09, 2019 7:05 pm

One of the PTFE bushes on my Raise3D Pro2 has got damaged and I can't find a replacement on the web for it, only the long tubes located above. The bushes that I need are in the head lifting unit and I don't really want to pay £300 + for a new unit.

I have asked 3DGBIRE and whilst they were very helpful, it appears it is not a stock part.

Any suggestion ?

This worked for the previous N series, how about upgrade to some even better special PTFE guide tube- using nothing more than a drill and some Capricorn guide tube? And maybe- while at it solve any gaps in the path by simply fine tuning the length of the guide tube?
As discussed here https://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php ... mod#p16789

Ask them about the new version of the PTFE insert tube connecting extruder with hotend. The new version of the PTFE feeding tube has expanding length to include the insertt in your picture.
It is something looks like the tube in the following picture but a little longer.

Are you saying there’s a new part for the Pro2?

It is still the same PTFE throat tube as the original Pro2 throat tube but with the top insert in Lifting System added into it.

Does the new design reduce the gap between the bottom of the extruder and the nozzle lifting assembly? This is typically where it clogs.

The only difference between the old one and new one is only the combine the two piece to be one piece.
