PRINT STUCK TO PRINT BED

Postby creed » Wed Oct 23, 2019 11:50 am

Just received our Pro2 Plus and still learning. What is the best way to remove the print from the print bed? The print seems to be stuck and the scraper won't budge it.

Put the buildplate with print in the freezer for a while. The print will usually come loose or pop off.

Use a Japanese spatula with a handle and a really thin blade. I find that the thinner the blade the easier it is to get in under the print and get it separated from the print bed. Also printing with a raft will make it easier.

Thank you for the tips! We successfully cooled the build plate/print enough to get the print off. Our previous 3D printer used a new build plate each time and preferred to be warm when twisting the plate to pop off the print.

Now after several prints completed, we can't get the support material to stick to the plate
