What is the part, and why is it smoking and loose?

I have a Raise3D pro 2 that I've owned for about a year now.

I just noticed as I was pre-heating the bed that this part was smoking badly - It smelled like burnt hair. I rushed over to the machine and turned it off and haven't been able to re-create it.

That said the part is loose and looks singed like it had been on fire.

Anyone care to help me out on what this piece is? Can it be replaced?

It looks like it's just a terminal block.

Should I be worried about this failing again if I replace it?

Start by tightening the screw in each of the small holes. If any of them are at all loose, that's probably the source of the problem - a poor connection that heated up.
If tightening the screws fixes the issue temporarily, replace the whole terminal block anyway. Most hardware stores will have them.
