I assume you meant PTFE and not PTFT.

Is there a particular NLGI rating that should be used? I've read a lot of mixed information between reddit, youtube and other forums in regards to whether you should use NLGI 2 on linear bearings or if you should be using NLGI 1, 0, or even lighter.

Sorry for the typo, it's PTFE. I just edited the original post.
Only the Z rods and the two crossing rods are working together with linear bearings. And the other 4 XY rods are working with brass bushing inside the sliding block.
For the NLGI rating, we haven't dived too deep into that yet. We normally use SuperLube PTFE type and have no issue with it by now. I searched on their website, it a NLGI grade 2 one.

Vicky could you please share which grease is recommended. The maintenance guide is not so detailed:
https://support.raise3d.com/Pro2-Series/pro2-series-lubricating-the-xyz-axis-4-226.html
We recommend lubrication maintenance every three months.(You can use superlube silicone lubricating grease with PTFE.) If the rods get dry, increase maintenance frequency.

I have found the following product in the Super Lube offer: Silicone Lubricating Grease with Syncolon® (PTFE)
https://www.super-lube.com/silicone-lubricating-grease-with-syncolon-ptfe#product-565

I have contacted Super Lube sales representative in my region, I was told that usually for similar application the
Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease with Syncolon® (PTFE) (https://www.super-lube.com/multi-purpose-synthetic-grease-with-syncolon-ptfe) is used.

I there any special reason why Silicone grease is recommended?

Best Regards.

From our side, we found that the Silicone one with PTFE last longer than other type.

Hi
I have applied the "Silicone Lubricating Grease with Syncolon® (PTFE)" to all the movement rods and screws.
Honestly, I'm not sure if the one recommended is not too thick and sticky for X/Y rods? Won't it cause skipping steps due to much friction at the starting point?
The grease which was used in the factory was definitely less sticky. I also got feeling that moving the head around was easier, but it could be me my personal feeling (as now I can't check it side by side :) ).

It is possible that For you applied too much. Try wipe it off with rag and only apply a small amount, then disable the motors to move the extruder around freely. Please move the extruder back and forth along the XY axis to work in the grease.
